    Neurophysiology assists in the diagnosis of neurological disorders. Offering outpatient treatments such as:

    • Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)


Prof Keyoumars Ashkan
Professor Keyoumars Ashkan Consultant Neurosurgeon

Professor Ashkan is a leading Neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital, London and one of the handful of Neurosurgeons in the UK to be awarded a Professorship.

His main interests are Neuromodulation surgery and brain tumours. This includes deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation and occipital nerve stimulation for movement disorders, pain, headaches and image guided minimally invasive and stereotactic surgery for brain tumours including awake craniotomies and brain mapping. He is also one of the few UK surgeons trained in Gamma and Cyberknife radiosurgery. Prof Ashkan and Mr RanjeevBhanjoo are currently the only surgeons in the UK able to perform the Visualase procedure for brain tumours for both adults and children.

Dr Hamid Modarres
Dr Hamid Modarres Consultant Neurophysiologist

Dr Hamid Modarres trained at St Thomas’ Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and The Royal Free Hospital in London. He is a Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Clinical Neurophysiology and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at St George’s Hospital, London and East Surrey Hospital.

Dr Antonia Clarke Paediatric Neurologist

Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at St George’s Hospital, London. Having qualified from University College Dublin in 1985, she did her general paediatric training in Oxford, Great Ormond Street Hospital London, Bristol and Bath. Her sub-specialist training in paediatric neurology was at St George’s Hospital London.

Dr Salah Omer is a Consultant Neurologist at St George’s Hospital and Kingston Hospital.He trained in the United Kingdom and has worked as a Consultant Neurologist for 19 years.  He has a wide experience in all areas of neurology, presents in national and international meetings and has contributed widely to neurological literature.

Dr Camilla Blain Consultant Neurologist

Dr Blain is a consultant neurologist with a specialist interest in multiple sclerosis.  She has two clinics each week devoted to MS patients, managing their care at all stages of the disease and working closely with the MS clinical nurse specialists.  She is also appointed to the Neurorehabilitation service, responsible for the care of in-patients at Queen Mary Hospital, Roehampton.  She sees general in-patient neurology at St Georges Hospital.

Dr Kuven Moodley Consultant Neurologist

Dr Kuven Kirendren Moodley is a Consultant Neurologist based in London.He has expertise in: general neurology, rapid access neurology (urgent neurology) and the cognitive disorders, including dementia and cognitive deficits arising following stroke, encephalitis and traumatic brain injury.

His non-clinical duties include: service lead for the St Georges Hospital Hyperacute Neurology Service and acting clinical lead for delirium. Dr Moodley is also widely published.He attended the Bond Solon excellence in report writing course on the 12th of November 2018. In the year since, he has completed more than 20 medicolegal reports relating to medical negligence, personal injury also acting as a single joint expert.
