George du Toit is a consultant in children’s allergy at Evelina London and honorary senior lecturer at King’s College London.George trained as a children’s doctor and then further specialised in children’s allergy and asthma at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and University of Cape Town, Allergy Diagnostic Clinical Research Unit.
In 2000, George took up a post as consultant paediatric allergist at Imperial College London, St Mary’s Hospital, moving to the children’s allergy service at Evelina London in 2003.

She trained in Medicine at the University of Florence (Italy) and was a research fellow at the institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital (London) for three years. Her postgraduate thesis was based upon constitutional delay of growth and puberty.
In 1999 Dr Albanese was appointed as Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology at St George’s Hospital and at The Royal Marsden, where she runs long term endocrine service for oncological children. Her clinical practice includes general endocrinology, with a particular interest in disorders of growth and puberty, diabetes insipidus and hyponatraemia and endocrine late effects of cancer and its treatment.

Dr Bushra Al-Rubeyi is a highly experienced consultant paediatrician and the founder of the prestigious London Child Clinic. Dr Al-Rubeyi adopts a holistic approach to the management of chronic and acute medical problems.
Including asthma, eczema, hayfever, constipation, headaches, lethargy, and growth and developmental problems. She sees children from birth to the age of 18, and her busy clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for investigation and diagnosis on-site.
Originally graduating from Ain Shams University, Dr Al-Rubeyi completed her medical training in Paediatrics at Great Ormond Street, the Hammersmith Imperial College and University College Hospital. By 1995 Dr Al-Rubeyiwas a Consultant Paediatrician and Fellow of The Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health. She started the London Child Clinic in 2006, which is widely recognised as one of the foremost paediatric clinics in the UK. Dr Michael Perkin is a Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Allergy at St Thomas’ Hospital, the largest NHS children’s allergy service in the country, and is a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy at St George’s Hospital. Having qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School (University of London) in 1993, he commenced training in Paediatrics and chose to specialise in Paediatric Allergy.
Dr Perkin undertook allergy training at Southampton and St Mary’s Hospital as well as Great Ormond Street Hospital. His research interest is understanding why so many children develop allergies and his PhD looked at farming children and what protects them from allergic disease. He is now co-leading a large trial to try and prevent infants developing food allergies in the first place – the EAT Study.Michael is able to advise on the management of food allergy, eczema, asthma, rhinitis (hay fever) and conjunctivitis as well as specific drug and insect sting allergies.
Michael provides a joint service with his wife, Dr Lucy Thomas (MB BCh, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP). Lucy qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine in 1992 and undertook training in general practice in Surrey. Dr Boyle is a fully accredited children’s allergy specialist in London, who is able to help children and adolescents affected by allergy problems. His NHS base at St. Mary’s Hospital is one of the country’s largest allergy clinics for children and young people. He is an expert in diagnosing and treating allergy in children, including food allergy, eczema, hayfever, and asthma. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. I am listed on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register.
My Private Practice is based at 84 Harley Street in London, 243 Great Portland Street in London and New Malden Diagnostic Centre in Surrey. I am accessible, available and aim to provide the highest standard of consultation and care for children. I provide medical reports promptly and communicate properly with others involved in my patient’s care.
I am the founder of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at St May’s Hospital London and one of the pioneers of “mobile intensive care” a system for transport of seriously ill children. I was one of 400 people invited to the Millennium Celebration of Achievement Luncheon, in the presence of Her Majesty, The Queen.I was appointed Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and Consultant at St. Mary’s Hospital London in 1992, since when I have been in practice as a specialist. In 2006, I was promoted to Reader at Imperial College and have since practiced as Clinician Scientist doing translational research into serious childhood diseases such as meningitis and septicaemia and respiratory diseases such as asthma and bronchiolitis. My current research focus is on sleep and breathing in children with asthma and sleep patterns in babies.
I am an active fund raiser and co-founder of the charity COSMIC (Children of St. Mary’s Intensive Care), which was instrumental in the setup the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and provides ongoing support for families, research projects and training and education.Book with a Paediatric Consultant Today
Dr Rima Al-Saffar is a Paediatric Consultant at the Royal London Hospital as well as being the Clinical Lead for Paediatric. She is an advocate for quality improvement and the patient/family voice. Dr Al-Saffar qualified with an MB BS and BSc from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in 2003 and completed a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the University of Liverpool in 2010.
She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health since 2007 and entered the GMC specialty register in August 2015. Dr Al-Saffar is able to support consultations in both English and Arabic.
